Apartment in Mamsha Al Saadiyat

The master suite is a long room facing the sea. Instead of a wall between the bed and the lounge, the design places a freestanding oak partition that carries the TV and turns on a stone base: towards the bed in the evening, towards the sofa in the day. The room keeps its full width and its full window.

Behind the bed, oak panels frame a backlit mural with flowing lines in sand and umber. The upholstered headboard runs the width of the wall and holds four globe pendants at different heights. In the lounge, a curved boucle sofa sits against oak panelling between two tall mirrors, with blue glass wall sculptures above it.

The guest bedroom takes a softer route: wall panels with a washed, cloud-like print above an oak dado, a cluster chandelier of white globes and a cognac leather bench. The dressing corner is lined with fine oak slats and a round mirror on a leather strap.
